            Sub:  All India Civil Services Chess Tournament 2011-12-reg.

            Ref:  GOI Circular No. 59/01/2011-12/CCSCSB dated 6.3.2012.

            The Director (Welfare), CCSC&SB, Department of Personnel & Training, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pension, New Delhi, has informed that an All India Civil Services Chess Tournament 2011-12 will be held at Chennai from 23.3.2012 to 31.3.2012.



            You are requested to send the names of two eligible players from your department so as to select and form a combined Regional Sports Board Team, Bangalore.



            It may please be noted that the TA/DA to the selected players are to be borne by the sponsoring departments themselves.



            The names of the players along with the prescribed details in the format annexed to this letter may please be sent to the undersigned so as to reach on or before 16.03.2012 positively.  If no nomination is received by the due date, it will be construed that there are no players from your department to be selected for the team.

The participants may be required to produce their office identity cards at venue to settle any objection as to their eligibility to take part in the tournament,  They should, therefore, bring their Identity cards with them.   Where the system Identity cards is not in force, the participants can produce their photographs authenticated by their offices.



N.B.             This proforma will mutates mutandis be used for all the AICS Tournaments and will be furnished to the organizing Secretary with an endorsement to Board’s office before the commencement of the tournament duly signed by officer not below the rank of Under Secretary concerned of the State and by Secretary or President of the Regional Sports Board.
