MEETING OF HEADS OF DEPARTMENT TO BE HELD ON 28/10/2009

POINTS TO BE DISCUSED

Point No. 1 : Selecting of 3 variable holidays

There are 14 compulsory holidays. 3 additional holidays needs to be selected from the list of 12 holidays (PTO)


Point No. 2 : Appointment / continuation of Authorized Medical Attendants (AMAs)

Currently 29 AMA’s have been appointed. The tenure of these AMA’s is upto 31.12.2009. Action needs to be taken for continuation of their Service.


Point No. 3 : Renewal / continuation of Area Welfare officer (AWOs)

Currently 11 AWOs have been appointed. The tenure of 10 AWO’s have to be renewed/appointed. In respect of one AWO, his tenure is upto 31.12.2010.

Any Department may nominate and forward nominations for appointment of AWOs. Alternatively, if no nomination is received we may extend the term of the current AWOs upto 31.12.2011.

Other Points:

(a) Prasad Bharathi, All India Radio, Yelahanka has requested for CGHS reorganization for M.S.Ramaiah Hospital, as there is no recognized hospitals available in North Bangalore. The SPT AIR Office and staff quarters are situated in Yelahanka. Hence, they have requested for a CGHS recognized hospital in North Bangalore.

(b) M/s. Indian Medical Biolab and Mathru clinic, 2nd Stage, Yelahanka New town, (Near Mother Diary Cross), Bangalore has requested to be included in the list of approved Diagnostic Centers. The above unit has started a branch at Yelahanka New Town, and has requested for their inclusion, as there was no CGHS approved diagnostic centre in and around Yelahanka.
